Aaron was born and raised in rural Alexandria, Indiana. He attended Ball State University (Muncie, Indiana), receiving a B.S. degree in Political Science, then moved west to the University of Wyoming, where he earned his law degree in 2000. Our lawyer serves Pocatello and Burley, and his practice areas cut a wide swath, which include Criminal Defense, Tribal Law, Family Law and Personal Injury litigation.
Aaron currently serves as Vice President of the Portneuf Inn of Court. He was named Denise O'Donnell Pro Bono Award recipient in 2010 and 2012, as well as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Attorney of the Year in 2010. He also is Chair of the Tribal Bar Ethics Committee.

Aaron has been involved in numerous high profile cases, and has litigated many cases to jury trial. Most recently, Aaron argued successfully before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in Evans v. Shoshone Bannock Tribal Land Use Commission regarding a complicated and contentious jurisdictional dispute. He has also argued successfully before the Idaho Supreme Court in many different types of cases.
Aaron is licensed in every court in the State of Idaho, the U.S. District Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Appellate Court for the Federal District, and the Shoshone Bannock Tribal Court. He has litigated cases in Washington and Wyoming.
